I learned to fly on an EasyStar without any tuition. it is almost indestructible, I was learning to fly in a very remote location in East Anglia, where I had use of about 40 Acres of common land. Right in the middle of this was an old WW2 pillbox, and yes you guessed it I flew it straight into it. To my surprise all it did was crease the nose a little bit. I continued flying it for years afterwards. I have now had three of these, I have combatted it, thermalled with it, slope soared with it, done spot landings with it, its quite simply a brilliant plane. It is my go-to plane if I want to fly in reasonably high winds, you can virtually harrier it all the way to the ground. If I were to crash it I would definitely purchase another, in fact I already have just on the off-chance that this one does finally meet an untimely end
